Shake the little hand
Chicken fuzz head n' knuckles
Balloons itself from the inside
Stretching brawn and beef into a barrage balloon
It's mouth watered into a thick saline drool
Sousing the streets in a slow erosion
The main was high, and the dam was too low
Low enough to give this lip of a wave a jumpstart
to Manhattan
The ooze frisked and percussed, palpating every inch of rust
Lining the gutters with fruit pulp and brine
Sucking slices of lemon into the gloom of a drudge's dwell
Its juices sap the walls in a vivid yellow
Leaving behind a pericarp rug
The fan above it sung low in the afternoon sun
The room slowly dries into a waterless, juiceless rind
